Redvelvet Cake

I was on a mission to find the ultimate Redvelvet Cake , walking through the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town on the ground level was Emporio Leone - Omg!!! For R40 you get any slice of cake with a medium coffee , I went for the Redvelvet, and I was glad that I did !!! It was amazing ! Coffee was well rounded , the cake was out of this world , and the service , impeccable.

Its a must ! The Redvelvet gets an 8 out of 10 and thats high on the pulse o metre

Driving through Greenpoint on a Friday afternoon craving an authentic Italian pasta, but this craving would not be satisfied by just another ready made pasta dish, like most of these "Italian" food chains dish out  nowadays. I remebered there was a place just off the main road in Greenpoint...

There it was, IL LEONE , 22 Cobern St, cnr of Prestwich St, Greenpoint, Cape Town.

You walk in and feel that Italian hospitality, the staff great you with a welcoming smile and you feel at home.

Food, Service, Wine - Excelente !!!

Try the Carbonara with a hint of chilli. Amazing !!!
